Longton & District Motor Club - Anglesey weekend                      October 14th and 15th

Having opened the season at Anglesey in April, LDMC brough down the curtain on the 2017 season with the National A and National B events at Anglesey circuit. A bumper entry gathered for two days of sprinting at the popular venue. The event was the last round for a number of championships including the British Sprint. The weather was largely dry, but with a constant wind.

Longton & District Motor Club - Blyton Park                                         September 30th

 An exciting new event at Blyton Park. LDMC promoted  their own event at the venue for the first time and attracted an exciting mixture of championships to the event. Five timed run were on offer during the day.

Nottingham Sports Car Club - Blyton Park Sprint Weekend         September 2nd and 3rd.

The NSCC's first visit to Blyton provided two excellent day's of sprinting action. The Roger Carrington Memorial Weekend took place in dry and warm conditions with seven timed runs on the eastern circuit on Saturday and six runs on the outer sprint circuit on Sunday.

Mid-Cheshire Motor Racing Club - Curborough Sprint                                   August 13th

The MCMRC promoted their annual speed event at the Curborough Sprint Circuit and entertained, among others, the Pre War Austin 7 Club. Using the figure of eight layout of he circuit. drivers had the opportunity of four timed runs each at the challenging circuit.

Pendle District Motor Club - Scammonden August Hillclimb                         August 12th

  The third and final meeting of the season hosted by PDMC. A damp morning gave way to a drying afternoon. The organisers offered 8 timed runs to competitors who were from a wide range of visiting championships gathering at the Yorkshire venue tp tackle Scammonden hill.

Mid Cheshire Motor Racing Club - Scammonden Hillclimb                                 July 16th

The second meeting of the year at the challenging Yorkshire hill. MCMRC's event was held in warm, dry conditions. An excellent day of competition with seven timed runs on offer for the Scammonden regulars and those drivers who were making their first visit to the venue.

Westfield Sport Car Club - Blyton Park Sprint Weekend                           July 8th and 9th

One of the most popular and eagerly awaited weekends of the season, this year attracting a bumper entry to Blyton Park. The event also hosted two rounds of the British Sprint Championship.

Liverpool Motor Club - The Barbon Hillclimb                                                       June 10th

 Set in the beautiful grounds of Barbon Manor, LMC's first visit of the season to the venue, attracted a host of visiting championships from the North West area. Unfortunately the weather on the day did not play it's part. with rain constant throughout the event making life difficult for organiers and drivers alike

York Motor Club / Huddersfield Motor Club - Blyton Park Sprint                  May 29th

Now in its second season at Blyton Park, the Keith Pattison Memorial Sprint, jointly organised by York Motor Club and Huddersfield Motor Club offered copetitors up to eight timed runs on the technically challengeing eastern circuit. Close compettion throughout the day, in mixed conditions,  produced a number of class records and a super day of sprinting for all

MGCC North Western Centre, Scammonden Hillclimb                                      May 14th

The first event of the season at Scammonden Dam, hosted by MGCC North Western Cente, held in largely dry and warm conditions. Two practice and ten timed runs were on offer to drivers on the challenging Yorkshire hill. The entry list included drivers from the North West along with visiting members of the MGCC Luffield Cars speed champioinship.

Manx Motor Racing Club - Manx Classic                                                    April 27th to 29th

Without doubt the Manx Classic is one of the most challenging, exciting and rewarding events of the season. A three day event comprising three hillclimbs on three consecuitve days at three different venues, held on arguably the longest hills in the UK, ensure competitors are able to enjoy lots of action. Along with hillclimbs at  Creg Willey's and the superb Lhergy Frissel, this year saw a return to the Sloc in the south of Island.

Darlington and District Motor Club - GB Sprint, Croft                                    April 17th

The Easter Monday Sprint at Croft racing circuit hosted by DDMC, attracted a super entry including the British Sprint contenders, plus an excellent mix of invited championships. The weather remainded dry but cool and Croft circuit provided its usual challenge to the drivers.

A new event to the calendar, with two days of action packed sprinting at the ever popular Anglesey venue. Competitors enjoyed super weather conditions and were offered plenty of runs on both the national and international layouts during the course of the weekend.
