Longton & District Motor Club - Anglesey                                   October 6th and 7th

The traditional end of season national A and B meeting at the ever popular Anglesey circuit hosted the final rounds for a number of championships including Longton's own series and the British Sprint Championship. An excellent entry gathered for two days of exciting competition.

Nottingham Sports Car Club - Blyton Park Sprint Weekend           Sept 8th and 9th

The NSCC attracted a super entry to their Blyton weekend and hosted two rounds of the British Sprint Championship. The rain on Saturday was constant, however Sunday's event was held on a dry track and provided some super sprinting with a new course record being set by Heather Calder duing the Top 12 Run Off.

Longton & District Motor Club - Three Sisters  Sprint                       September 2nd

LDMC's third visit of the season to 3-Sisters and the final round of the 2018 3-Sisters challenge. An excellent entry plus warm weather produced some super sprinting on the two lap cirucuit layout. Once again a host of new records were set by drivers making the most of and enjoying the grip levels of the new surface at the Wigan venue.

Pendle District Motor Club - Scammonden August Hillclimb                  August 18th

 The third and final event of the season at Scammonden produced a number of new class records and an exciting new hill record. James Baxter lowered the outright hill record, held by Roy Lane since 1975. An excellent day of competition at the Yorkshire venue.

Mid-Cheshire Motor Racing Club - Curborough Sprint                                 August 12th

The MCMRC promoted their annual speed event at the Curborough Sprint Circuit and provided an excellent days sprinting for a number of visiting championships on the figure of eight circuit.

Longton & District Motor Club - Three Sisters Sprint                                      July 29th

The second visit of the season for LDMC attracted an excellent etnry to the Wigan venue. Practice was very wet and although there was a slight improvement, damp and showery conditions prevailed for the five timred runs on offer.

 Mid Cheshire Motor Racing Club - Scammonden Hillclimb                               July 22nd

An excellent entry and a wide variety of cars gathered at Scammonden Dam for the second event of the season at the scenic venue. Close competition was the order of the day and a number of drivers were rewarded with class records.

Westfield Sport Car Club - Blyton Park Sprint Weekend           July 14th and 15th

 Two super days of super sprinting at one of the most popular venues in the country. The WSCC attracted an excellent entry with divers enjoying the sprint circuit on Saturday and the more technically challenging Eastern circuit on Sunday.

Liverpool Motor Club - The Barbon Hillclimb. National A                            July 7th

Nottingham Sports Car Club - Curborough Sprint Weekend     June 30th - July 1st

Held on one of the warmest weekends of the year, the NSCC provided a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable weekend of sprinting at Curborough. On Saturday, competitors used the short course, while Sunday's event presented a stern challenge on Curborough's long course.

Longton & District Motor Club - Three Sisters  Sprint                         June 17th

 The first sprint of the 2018 season at the challenging venue using the popular two lap layout to provide a stern challenge to competitors.The circuit has been completely resurfaced since last season which must have been to the liking of the drivers as there were no less than ten new class records set, plus the course record was lowered by some margin.

Liverpool Motor Club - The Barbon Hillclimb. National B                                 June 9th

 Set in the beautiful grounds of Barbon Manor, LMC's first visit of the season attracted an excellent entry with the warm, sunny weather playing its part in making the day a great success.

York Motor Club / Huddersfield Motor Club - Blyton Park Sprint           May 28th

The sun shone brightly for the May Bank Holiday Monday event jointly organised by York and Huddersfiled Motor Clubs at Blyton Park. The event is fast become well established on the sprinting calendar.

Longton & District Motor Club - Blyton Park Sprint                   May 19th and 20th

 Longton's first visit of the season to Blyton park provided two super days of sprinting. Saturday's event was held on the challenging eastern circuit whilst Sunday saw drivers test themselves ont the sprint circuit.

MGCC North Western Centre, Anglesey weekend                       May 5th and 6th

Two full days of super sprinting action on Anglesey at the Ty Croes circuit hosted by MG Car Club North West. Saturday's challenge saw drivers take on the challenge of two laps of the national circuit and the full international circuit on Sunday.

Longton & District Motor Club - April, Anglesey weekend         April 7th and 8th

The first speed event of the season at the popular Welsh venue. Saturday's weather was cold and wet, however Sunday's dry and warm conditions ensued the competitors enjoyed up to six timed runs on the testing international circuit

Darlington and District Motor Club - GB Sprint, Croft                              April 2nd

Competitors gathered at  a Croft Racing circuit for the Easter Monday sprint. The weather did not play its part, with constant raing affecting the track. As the morning progressed the rain continued to fall. and reluctantly the organisers decided to abandon the meeting.

Manx Motor Racing Club - Manx Classic                                    April 26th to 28th

Without doubt the Manx Classic is one of the most challenging, exciting and rewarding events of the season. A three day event comprising three hillclimbs on three consecuitve days at three different venues, held on arguably the longest hills in the UK.
